30.6.11

I went round to Eileens for dinner tonight (homemade lasagne = YUM!) and on my way home I had to stop off and get some petrol. I almost couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the price. 130.9??!?! That's cheaper than its been in AGES. Hopefully the price will keep dropping because it was started to get verrrry pricey filling my wee car.

So that's us half way through the year, and the month of June was rounded off with a nice little saving.

29.6.11

It was a bit of a blah day today. There was nothing of excitement or note so here is a picture of some of the pretty flowers in the garden. Personally, I like the pink ones.

28.6.11

Today was my first day back at work. This made me sad. However after I finished work I went and bought some of my favourite salad dressing. That made me happy! You may think its a bit tragic but this salad dressing is amazing, and fairly hard to come by these days (yes, Eileen, one bottle is for you!!)

27.6.11

Today was the last day of my holiday. I flew home last night from Luton and today I spent the day lazing about the house. I haven't seen any of Wimbledon so I watched the Raphael Nadal v Juan Martin Del Potro match. It was rather exciting. Nadal won and is through to the quarter finals. I suppose I should try and watch an Andy Murray match at some point.

26.6.11

Today me and Rachel went to Whipsnade Zoo. We fully expected it to be packed because it was a roasting hot day. It wasn't too bad. I had an ice lolly for elevenses, and ice cream cone for lunch and watched this brown bear eat an apple in his pool. It was a most excellent Sunday.

25.6.11

Today was my first full day down south. I was staying with Rachel, who I met in Brazil. We went to Woburn Deer Park and Gardens. It was a lovely day. The gardens were lovely.

I also consumed possibly the worlds most gigantic scone. It was so immense I had to eat it with a knife and fork!

It was so worth it though.

24.6.11

Today it was time to head home from Inverness. All was going really well. We made good time down the road and made it safely to Lyndsays. Mum came and collected me and Eileen and we dropped Eileen off at home. However we had only made it to the top of the street when the car radiator went Kapoot! I had a flight to catch down to Luton and I still had to wash clothes, pack and get to the airport. Thankfully we got towed home by the AA and mum dropped me off in the butterfly mobile with plenty of time to spare. Phew!!
