I was round at Eileens tonight for a short while. A girl from my work, Laura (who is in the back ground) does acrylic nails, and was putting some on for Eileen while Elise entertained me with her stunt riding. She's such a daredevil.

Today Eileen and her brood came over for a wee relaxing Sunday. Elise helped me hang out my washing on mums groovy wee free standing whirly gig. Surprisingly she was less of a hindrance than expected and was actually quite helpful. They did manage to just about eat us out of house and home from the moment they walked in the door this morning until they left after dinner. I dont understand how little people have such massive appetites!

As it is Andrews birthday tomorrow, he is having a sleep over tonight. To save Elise the trouble of having to give many big boys into trouble through the night, she came to stay over night with me and Mum. I must say she was a little sweet heart. She hasn't ever been one to give lots of kisses or cuddles or really want to sit up with you or anything. These past few weeks she has really come round and I had lots of cuddles and general tomfoolery. It was lovely to have her on her own too. She is a right little madam at times but hilarious with it.

Incase you didn't know, today was the Royal Wedding. Since our invites got lost in the post me, Mum, Eileen and Elise decided to have a bit of a posh lunch while we watched the TV coverage. Well Elise was not particularly interested. Despite me telling her repeatedly that this was a very important day she insisted on rampaging, singing and running round and round in ever decreasing circles.
The dress was beautiful, I want a gold covered horse drawn carriage if I ever get married, Prince William had a permanent smug look on his face ( I think he was chuffed he had bagged himself a hotty ) and cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches are surprisingly tasty.

Today I had planned to go over and see Sarah with Eileen and Elise. We decided to go out for some lunch and a chinwag.

I was also greeted by 2 ill children and one who had been having typical little boy fun with his big cousin.
I actually think Lewis had been literally rolling about in the mud. Apparently he and Connor had just been playing football.
The picture doesn't do his muddyness justice and moments after this picture was taken he was whipped off for a much needed bath.
Happy Birthday Eileen!!

Is there anything better than coming home from a hard days work to a home made fairy cake?
Yes there is. Coming home to a fairy cake made by my niece who, if she was here, would have told me I wasn't allowed it and then would have sent me to my bed.
She wasn't here so I got to have it, with custard. It was good :)

Today has been a very good day. There were many things that made it so good. Firstly I was off work on a wee holiday, and there for got a lie in. Secondly I went to Eileens and hung out with her and her terrible trio, who were all on top form. Andrew, Lewis and I played some board games. Elise in particular was hilarious and even gave me my first ever kiss and cuddle from her when I left. She's usually very particular about who and when she gives kisses or cuddles too but, somehow, I got on her good side today :). Thirdly we had stovies for dinner, which were tres tasty. Finally, and possibly the most exciting thing of the day........I found French set yogurts in Asda!!
You may think 'So what!' but I LOVE French set yogurts. We were basically brought up on them and, in recent times, they have become very difficult to come by. I have been keeping an eye out for them for months and months and finally I have found them. I've already had 2 today, and I think I may go have another one!! Next on my food mission is MacIntosh red apples. Haven't seen them in a good couple of years!

Today me, Eileen and Elise went to visit our Aunt Isobel and Uncle Mike.
We had some cake
Lucy the dog tried (and failed) to get food off of everyone. She also tried (and succeeded) to get pats off of everyone.
A lovely afternoon was had by all. I believe the next time we go visit, we've to take roller skates. That'll make for some amusing photos, no doubt about it!

Despite Elise looking very happy in this picture the only words I got out of her today were 'NO!' and 'Bed!'. She sends me to my bed alot, not that I'm complaining. She is usually quite the poser but she refused to smile for a picture for me. I only managed this one because Eileen was tickling her and doing 'bubblies' on her tummy.
