Some of you may remember that back on the 16th of this month I was an extra in a zombie film. Well today I was back for full zombification:

I had other zombie chums along for the gory ride. L-r Sarah, Eileen, Graeme and Lyndsay. It was good fun, though there was too much running for my liking. I am more of a shambling, shuffley zombie.

Running around, pretending to be the reanimated undead was not a bad was to round off the month. Cheerio April!

Incase you didn't know, today was the Royal Wedding. Since our invites got lost in the post me, Mum, Eileen and Elise decided to have a bit of a posh lunch while we watched the TV coverage. Well Elise was not particularly interested. Despite me telling her repeatedly that this was a very important day she insisted on rampaging, singing and running round and round in ever decreasing circles.
The dress was beautiful, I want a gold covered horse drawn carriage if I ever get married, Prince William had a permanent smug look on his face ( I think he was chuffed he had bagged himself a hotty ) and cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches are surprisingly tasty.

I ordered myself a new pair of trainers a couple of days ago and they were delivered today.
I decided I needed some snazzy shoes for the summertime and these ones are pretty snazzy, I think.

Today I had planned to go over and see Sarah with Eileen and Elise. We decided to go out for some lunch and a chinwag.

I had possibly the most delicious strawberry milkshake on the planet. Eileen somehow managed two, they were just that good.
We were joined by a strange little being who stole milkshake and caused hilarity in a variety of ways including, but not limited to, having her cardigan over her head and buttoned under her chin so the arms looks like crazy little ears.
Then we went to Queens Park and lay in the sunshine enjoying the beautiful weather before me, Eileen and Elise had to head home and collect her boys. However, the day had been too perfect up to this point.
So, the car decided to play up and I had to call out the AA. We ended up being 2 hours later than planned to collect Andrew and Lewis and I am now completely shattered. Thankfully the wait for the AA wasn't too bad and didn't ruin the whole day and I am still a happy little bumble bee.

I was watching Connor and Ethan tonight, and Ethan was wearing his new football strip that my Mum got for him while she was away on holiday. I thought it would be nice to get a picture of him wearing it to show her. However, when it comes to little boys and pictures, you only get a nice one when you let them take a crazy one too. See below for proof...

This is me, just chilling in my hammock. Today was the first time i used it, so I had it a safe distance off the ground (just a few inches) incase I fell trying to get in or out of it. I didn't, and it was mighty comfy. If the weather had stayed warmer I would have been there for hours....

HAPPY EASTER! Here are my nephews and niece after their Easter egg hunt in the garden. Its pretty safe to say the kids (and Sarah) all had alot of fun.

Saturday, 23 April 2011

Its Easter tomorrow! All the family are coming, brothers, sisters, husbands, wives, and many many children.
I made a little table centre nest for the buffet table. Isn't it cute? Awww, wee baby chicks....

All the sheep and their little lambs have been moved out of the field at the back of the house and Mr Farmer Man was out last night doing farmery things in his little red tractor.

I was held up in traffic leaving the train station tonight (after a day I would very happily forget). As I edged round the road I found not 1, but 2 RAC vans helping some melon with a broken down motorbike. I have never seen two roadside assistance vans helping one car, why does Mr Motorbike get special treatment?

Roasting!! Summer is here! Hopefully the good weather hangs around for the long weekend.

Also, my car is dusty.

First Easter egg of the season! The bosses in work are trying to keep us sweet so we each got an Easter egg today. Me and Mum shared it and it was good :)

Monday, 18 April 2011

I am currently reading this book. Graeme leant it to me after our stint on Saturday being zombies.

Realistically, it's only a matter of time before there is a zompocalypse and I want to be well prepared.

Sunday, 17 April 2011

The little lambs were out enjoying the sunshine today. These little guys were quite bold as I was only standing a few feet away from them and their mummy had wandered off when I appeared. They just stood and stared at me as if to say 'Whatcha doin'?'

Saturday, 16 April 2011

Today I was an extra in a zombie movie :). There was no zombie makeup as we had only just died, but we're back in a couple of weeks to be full zombies :-D

Friday, 15 April 2011

Went over to see Graeme and his clan tonight as they wanted to watch my DVD from Brazil. Kirsty had made some wee fairy cakes. They had strawberries inside and were quite yumtastic. Don't tell Dad, he is still being deprived of nice food.

Thursday, 14 April 2011

My mum has started a wee business making handmade handbags. One of the girls in my work was wanting a bag made so tonight I had to photograph all of Mums fabrics so she could choose what one she wanted.
This isn't the fabric she chose, but I think it's rather nice.

Wednesday, 13 April 2011

I have a cold and have been feeling sorry for myself all day. Since lunch time all I have wanted to do is get home, put my pyjamas on and watch a film.... so that's exactly what I did. Shaun of the Dead is tonight's film of choice.

Tuesday, 12 April 2011

Mum has put us on a diet. Well a healthy eating plan, I suppose.
I have been deprived of yummy things like cake for many, many days but I just remembered I had half my white chocolate Bueno left! I bought it at the weekend and only ate half of it so I am going to chow down on that. Yay! It's the little things that make my day....

Monday, 11 April 2011

The DVD from my trip to Brazil last year finally arrived! Only 7 months after I went!
Went over to Eileen's and watched it with her and the boys. Brought some memories back, I'll tell ya. It was an experience I'll never forget.

Sunday, 10 April 2011

After last night's late night today has been very very lazy. I did pop out and get some petrol, and I had to make a detour to the police station as I spotted some kids playing by the side of the dual carriage way, and they looked no more than 5 years old! I was surprised that apparently no-one else had reported it. The police station is seconds down the road in the car.
To recover from my despair for humanity I decided to sit and watch some TV while eating the crisps mum and dad brought back for me from Amsterdam. Crisps make everything alright.

Saturday, 9 April 2011

Tonight was Eileen's 30th birthday party. The night had been named Gin and Tears. There was gin but, as far as I am aware, there were no tears. I think its a safe assumption that Eileen had a good night and turning 30 ain't so bad after all :)

Friday, 8 April 2011

This was my desk at 5pm tonight. Normally I have everything tidyed away but today was pretty busy and shambolic. This is actually fairly tidy, because I had sorted and put some papers away at one point because I was just surrounded. Thank Crunchie it's Friday!

Thursday, 7 April 2011

Went over to Eileens for dinner tonight. I intended to be homeward bound at about 9:30 but, due to us gabbing for ages I didn't get home until quarter to 11! I'm normally in bed by 10. Rock 'n' roll!

Wednesday, 6 April 2011

Got some flights booked tonight for a wee jaunt down south. Going to visit Hayley(who features on 11.2.11) and some other peeps I met while away in Brazil last year. CANNOT WAIT!
It'll be rounding of my summer holiday this year as I'll be up north in Inverness for 5 days with Eileen and Lyndsay before jetting down to London town. Excitement!

Tuesday, 5 April 2011

Candy Bracelet! One of the girls in work came in with a bunch of candy bracelets. I managed to hold off eating mine until after I finished work. I did wear it all day, even when I had big important people sitting with me to go through one of our processes. I may have tried to use my left hand to point things out, just so they could see my groovy piece of edible jewellery. I think they were jealous they didn't have one :)

Monday, 4 April 2011

Presents!! YAY! Mum and Dad are back from their holiday in Amsterdam. Before they left I gave them some money and asked them to bring me back something nice. Well, I didn't expect to get so spoiled!. I got (l-r) 2 Chinese dragon figures, a set of chopsticks, a gorgeous silky robe, and 2 pairs of slippers. I also got some crisps (I love crisps from abroad) and a pair of Heinekin sunglasses that make me look like some sort of insect.

Sunday, 3 April 2011

Today was 'Operation: Bin Rescue'. The only reason I invited Eileen and Lyndsay over yesterday was to butter them up so they would help me get the recycling bin out the gully across the road. Some stupid neds thought it would be acceptable to fling it down there while they stumbled down the road in a drunken stupor.
As was expected Lyndsay flung herself down and grappled with the bin before I even found a non scary looking part to clamber down, so I just helped Eileen haul the bin and Lyndsay back up.
Thanks Ladies!!

Saturday, 2 April 2011

As today was my last Saturday living the life of a lady of leisure (which has been my mission this week while I have been on holiday from work) I decided to go get a manicure with Eileen. I think we are both pretty convinced we could keep ourselves entertained while being kept women.
Definatly the lifestyle for me!

Also had Eileen and Lyndsay over for some dinner, dancing and drinks. Much fun was had by all. I do enjoy our girly nights :)

Happy April! Today was the Easter show at the nursery my niece and youngest nephew go to. Here is Elise as a little pink flower. Unfortunately I didn't manage to get a picture of Ethan, but he was a very cute sheep.
